What is the best way to remove and replace the safety spring and ball on a 2240/2250?

To remove the safety spring and ball use the following procedure:
  1. Hold the trigger frame and the main body of the airgun together.
  2. Remove the two screws that hold the trigger frame to the main body. Continue to hold the frame and main body together.
  3. Holding the airgun upright lift the main body off the trigger frame. The safety spring and ball should remain in the trigger frame.
  4. Carefully turn the trigger frame over being careful to catch the safety spring and ball.
To replace the spring and ball reverse the above steps.
